I agree with AIMS Goals, must I actually re-register?

Unfortunately, yes. Here is why. Unless you invest your time and effort and actually re-register, Congress will not take notice. If you do, your action will become a statement. At first, our statement will be dismissed, and then ignored. As more of us switch to Independents, we will become a whisper, then an annoying voice. As our ranks swell, we will eventually become a voice ever louder until our message can no longer be ignored.
