I WANT TO JOIN AIM

1. Create an Account, membership is free
2. Tell your Senators and Representatives in a hand-written letter politely explaining why you did so. 
3. Be polite and have a sense of humor. Humor is lacking in our political process. While that is not quite true, there is plenty of mean spirited humor out there. We need to laugh at ourselves first, before we laugh at someone else. There is a comedian I enjoy who says in her routine, “a few more please and thank you’s sure would be nice”. I agree. We are serious about being polite.
4. Even if you do not agree with AIM, consider this. If all of us stop donating to political party’s just think about how many fewer campaign commercials we will have to listen to this upcoming campaign season. Think about it.

I WANT TO VOLUNTEER!

Share with us your ideas on spreading the American Independent Movements message. Right now word of mouth seems to be working the best. Tell someone you personally know about us and maybe that person will join. Just please do not badger them. We are not a political party so let us not start acting like one. If someone likes the idea great, if not just leave him or her alone, create a bumper sticker instead. (No Graffiti). Funny and clever is good. Mean and condescending is not.

Bloggers, writers, and helpers needed. We are starting out with just one guy and one website gal and both of us still need to make a living. We need writer’s to update AIM news for the website and general volunteers to help with mailings and so forth.

We need volunteers in every state to help with grass root organizational development. We have no money and anything that you think would spread the word in organizing, logistics, equipment, office space, and so forth would be helpful.
