Why Aim

We need to change the mindset that our Congressional leaders believe they are better than the American Citizen and therefore should govern us from the top down. Congress does not even recognize they are developing into an Oligarchy. The American Independent Movement will point that out for them.

Many Americans that are pretty unhappy with Congress and want vote them all out of office. This is pretty understandable. By all means have at it. Join any party or movement that is working in concert with your political goals. The American Independent Movement encourages you to be politically active and join in partisan politicking. It’s the American way. Get involved!

Many believe this Congress has soiled our bed and we need to throw out the sheets. If you feel that way, then throw out the sheets by all means. Our point is this, what will prevent the next one climbing in our bed from doing the same? The truth is our house needs a whole new roof. We want to fix the roof.

The AIM members recognize that no matter who gets elected, or what laws passed, we all stand a far better chance of getting better legislation if the guys and gals voting for it have to live with it too, and less not forget to include their special friends either. If the law is a rose then we all get to enjoy the fragrance. If the law turns out to be a big pile of garbage, well we all get to smell that too.
